For example, I will show you one question here and how you can approach the question using the right technique and this will involve a FORMULA which will help you to memorize easily.

1. SPM Answering Techniques
Let’s say this is the question.
“Huraikan langkah-langkah yang telah diambil ke arah pembentukan Malaysia.”
This is one of the very possible exam question for this year and you might want to prepare for this part. You can use a FORMULA to answer this question.
For example, I have given my students this FORMULA which is called MUST JJ. This is the formula that you can use to answer this essay question.
Example
M stands for Maphilindo, U stands for UNMM, S stands for Suruhanjaya Cobbold. T stands for Tunku Abdul Rahman and J stands for JPPK. Another J stands for JAK. Now, you have all the points that are in the textbook which I have just summarized in this FORMULA. All you have to do is to turn this into an essay.
U – UNMM
S – Suruhanjaya Cobbold
T – Tunku Abdul Rahman
J – JPPK
J – JAK
To answer this question, you can start your sentence by…
Salah satu langkah yang telah diambil ke arah pembentukan Malaysia ialah Maphilindo ditubuhkan.
After that, you give 1 huraian. In your perenggan 2, you can talk about UNMM. This is like 3 to 4 pages in your textbook and you can summarize the whole thing just with MUST JJ FORMULA. That is all you have to remember for langkah-langkah pembentukan Malaysia.

3. Try to attempt answering good SPM questions
Thirdly, you have to try to attempt answering good questions. Good questions here mean SPM standard questions. It will be useless if you buy any normal latihan books from the bookshop and you simply do all kind of questions.
The questions that you try to attempt must be up to SPM standard, including all the KBAT questions.

4. Identify SPM HOT Areas
Moreover, you have to identify the HOT Areas. A lot of people like to use the word Soalan Ramalan and this can be very misleading. You cannot simply blindly spot questions or ramalkan soalan. You have to identify the HOT Areas and there is a way to go about it. You cannot simply leave out this chapter, that chapter as you wish and this can cause lots of problem in your actual SPM Examination.
