After only a few lessons I found my Malay vocabulary improving. He also gives studying tips, which really helps me plan notes for my other subjects as well. Mr Siva is always ready to hear our opinions, and no matter how personal or distinct they are, he accepts them and never go against them. He DOES NOT discriminate any gender or race, rather the opposite, he is very open to new perspectives by his students and encourage us to speak out more. Besides that, it is very obvious that he cares about his students very much. He would always walk the extra mile for us, staying back for over an hour just to answer every single question, whether or not it is relevant to Sejarah. As I joined only recently, I missed out on a lot of behind topics. However, Mr Siva was willing to take time out to help provide me with the formulas and ‘cartas’ that I missed,and for that I’m extremely grateful to him. During class, he always gives off an air of confidence in what he is teaching, and this ensures my faith in him. His notes are concise and much easier to analyse compared to the textbook. A great thing he does during his class is he always refreshes back on his last lesson before moving on, so we will not feel blur during the current class. But I have to say the best thing he does is that he uses a whiteboard to teach, instead of a slideshow so it is never boring. Lastly, I would like to say that his admin team is great as well. They update us on upcoming programs in advance and their information is clear. During my first class the admin PM me to check whether I can join the class and he also asked how I felt about the lesson. Simple gestures like that really gives off that they truly cares about their students. In joining his masterclass, the only regret I have was not joining earlier.
